Florida TLers please read!!!!
I recently purchased SunPass.
I mounted it left side if rear veiw mirror (where many black dots)
But it seems doesn't work.
Where is the best place to mount SunPass?

I have mine on the driver side dash to the left above the steering wheel. Kinda tucked between the windshield/dash.
Works fine for me driving on the sawgrass everyday.

Just saw this post as I'm ready to go to bed....zzz.......my EZ PASS worked well in the same area you mentioned, I actually have it closer to the upper side of the windshield, behing my rearview mirror and works just fine, used it recently between MA and IL...no problems....good luck, maybe you have a "bum" receiver....

the dots u speak off...thats the dotmatrix, try moving it around a little up in that general region, eventually ull get a working position. the dot matrix might reflect the signal that the SunPass things send to the windshield and the dot matrix might block them. i havn't heard of this problem tho so as said before you might have a bum reciever

Have mine posted directly behind and to the right of the rearview mirror. It positioned in such a way that when sitting in the drivers seat I cannot see it. It is positioned below any dotmatrix materials.

FYI for anyone using an EZ Pass, etc. Go to the following link and order one of these...
http://www.tagsak.com/
Mount it up in the black strip of the windshield and you can hardly see it from the outside. Looks 10x better than that stupid white box.

Mine is in the cubby under the radio. I take it out when going though the toll both and hold it by the windshield.
I had one stolen in Tampa. Someone broke into my TL when they saw the suction cups for the radar detector and the SunPass.
I reported it stolen and the Fippies (FHP) have photos of them using is after they shut it down.
Maybe we'll see them on Dumb Criminals one day.
