So I'm just starting to figure out what I want to do to my new-used '08, and the first priority, with the weather in New Jersey over the last few weeks, has to be all-weather floormats. Acura seems to no longer make the OEM all-weather floormats in caramel (my first choice, as it's light-on-light), though a few dealers (all of which are a bit of a haul away from me) still have them in stock. Before I go and hunt them down, does anyone have pictures of this color floormat in a taupe interior? Am I better off buying black, or maybe the gray Weathertechs? I know this is a personal preference, so any photographic evidence is much appreciated!

 

I have a set of each. I cannot help you with the color, but the acuras have lines from front to back - if you like to sit with your left heel up against the seat, then it will slide down. The weather techs have square things and your foot stays put.

 

black floor mats, they look the best, on any color

 

I've got taupe interior as well, but I ordered black floor mats and black all season mats. Will eventually change out the carpet to black as well.

 

I've got Taupe interior as well, I ordered black mats a while ago and installed them instantly. It changes the complexion of the interior significantly. I love it and would never put tan mats back in the car.

 

^+1 I have had black mats for over 4 years- they look great and hold up well. I'm getting pretty tempted to swap out the carpet for black oem carpet because the rear hump is starting to look bad since there is no cover for that.

 

I'd go with the black all weather mats. Really helps keep your TL clean from dirt, spills, etc. Easy to clean. Look and fit great!

 

The pics aren't the greatest, but hopefully it will give you an idea......I like the contrast of the black all weather mats on the Taupe (Parchment) interior.
