Flat Spotting on A-spec and other things

The temp was 24 F on the mid this morning. Didn't drive the Acura all weekend other than in the driveway to wash and wax. Saturday temps were 70 for a high and then Sunday was cold and windy.

Had flat spotting for 3 minutes on the highway but to be expected with the low profile Yokohama's on the S-spec. The rubber on Yoko's is soft and so resolved quickly.

On another issue I'm near empty and at 34 miles range left with no "Check Fuel Cap" like the last tank. I'll see if there is a good hiss when I open the cap this time.

I have about 1800 miles and the only complaint I have is the trouble I'm having getting used to the throttle and clutch when getting off the line. I've stalled about three times in the morning when I'm not awake yet because I either give too little throttle or let the clutch up too much. I haven't figured out which. Seems like I rev the engine too much and get herky jerky starts off the line about 15% of the time. All other gears and shifts are easy. I have not trouble when I'm manuevering in the driveway. Just when I want to punch it and get off the line. I'm sure its operator error and a timing thing, but it feels different than the last stick I had.

There's been a 6 year gap between this one and the last, but I don't think I ever stalled the last one that I can remember.

Otherwise, I'm getting a few rock strikes. I'd have to touch up before I applied a clear bra now, but some of the small nicks are beyond where a clear bra would go.

Played Poker Friday and gave 5 'Demo Rides' to others to check out the car/phone/Nav/XM, etc. Couple of people had not seen this car.

The car has otherwise been great. I've got a business trip once per month for the next 4 months that I'll drive and enjoy!
