first wax?

So I've had my TL for 37 days now, and I'm looking to give it a first coat of wax this weekend. I've washed my car just about every weekend since I picked it up. I don't know the exact build date, but I picked it up on March 9th after waiting a few weeks for it to come in.

So can I safely wax my car? Am I doing it too quickly? I've read somewhere before about needing to wait 30 days. I've search this forum and the wash and wax and didn't find anything.

Thanks

Your fine. Sal at Zaino says that 2 weeks is all a new paint job needs for curing. It's not like the paint jobs of yesteryear where you had to wait 6 months for the paint to cure.

you don't have to wait for it to cure. just wash, clay and wax. when i say wax i refer to the synthetic products and not regular just wax. alot of people here like zaino but i don't like how long it takes to apply. people will say its very easy to apply and takes minutes but i just don't know how fast these people are working. it takes me about half the day to detail my car. check out the klasse all in wonder(AIO) and Sealant Glaze(SG). best products i have used so far. i detailed my car in early november and the detail survived through the winter storms, salt and all. the finish is still beeding water very well. i am gonna detail the car again for the summer soon. the product is relatively inexpensive too. i have also use NXT which is very easy to use(doesn't take that long to apply and remove). but it does not last that long. it lasted just over a month after i applied last summer. given that it did rain alot it was still disappointing.
