Ok guys I've owned the car for almost 2 months now, and the car has its first rattling. Its in the rear deck, on right side... Its soo annoying when the music is not on, even it rattles on smooth road.

so what could it be?

 

Seat belt fastener. My middle seat belt in the back seat rattled on all roads, with or without music. You could knock on the rear deck and hear the thing rattling. They put foam all around it to try to prevent it from rattling as much and it helped.

ok lore, I knocked in the rear by the speakers lol... and it rattles... I dont think its the seat bealt, its something else... I'm taking it to my dealer right now........... so lore tell me again,... what is it? so i can tell them exactly where its coming from.

btw, whom do I take this problem to, to my salesman, or service manager?

 

Are you sure it's not the seat belt? I didn't think it was either until they told me (and until I opened the rear deck up and saw it for myself later on).

What does it sound like? By the way, if you pound the rear deck area it WILL sound like the speakers. But the rattle I had seemed like a little bit of metal to metal contact.. kind of like subdued sound of rattling keys.

You would take it to your service manager.

I have similar issue as Lore has, but it's gone now before starting to do anything.

 

hey rets, that helped... looking at that pic... I'm sure thats where the rattling is coming from.... I will try it after I get hands on that foam.

 

Glad they're relevant. If you insist DIY, the same color foam may help.
