First Problem

My TL has about 2700 miles on it and this morning, my VSA indicator light
stayed on for my entire commute. I'm taking the car to the dealer tomorrow.

Has anybody else had this problem ?

The next time you started, was the light on again? If not, you may have inadvertantly pressed the VSA button, so the light will stay on until you turn off the ignition, and then it will reset itself the next time you start the car.

I did this once on my 96TL and it drove me crazy until I realized I had pushed the button by mistake.

You could also have a tire that is low on air. The wheel speed sensors will pick this up and light the VSA indicator. Everyone should have a tire pressure gauge as standard equipment in their automobile.

Good catch. The manual also says to deactivate the VSA when using the compact spare tire, which I am quite sure most people won't remember to do when they get a flat, mainly because of the stress caused by having to deal with the flat tire ,or when using tires of different sizes.

I had a VSA light and the ABS light come on simultaneously.

It was a bad wheel speed sensor.

Unless you have both lights on, it is improbable that there is a problem with the VSA as the two systems are interrelated.

As already asked, are you sure that you have not depressed the VSA button by accident?

You might also check the manual for info on the VSA as well.

I just went out to the parking lot at lunch, and started my TL up . . . no warning light.
I guess it's possible I did bump it. How embarrassing!

Thanks, guys.

Don't worry about it.....I "bump" mine every day on the way into work. On purpose, of course.
