First Post! Need buying advice

I am thinking about a 2006 TL with 31000 miles. The deal has been worked where it would be about $21000. Clear title no special options nor navigation, but that is ok. The car is an off lease but it was in an accident where the front fender was replaced and painted. You cannot tell at all and I am sure there was nothing else as a problem. What do you think? PS. It has the wood grain panels that I would love to switch out to the regular black. What is the easiest and cheapest way to do that?

Because it is a deal and it isn't like it was a flood, it was a fender.

I would want to see pics of the damage before, replacing that fender means there was some serious damage that could not be worked out of the panel, or was too costly to fix. I'd ask them to fess up, because fender damage would mean axle/wheel damage, or front end damage as well.

Well the dealer (not Acura dealer) did say it is still under factory warranty and that the damage happened during the lease period 6 months after it was new. He also said since that was the case it had to be fixed and be perfect for it to be return under that lease agreement. So, I think it would be ok.

To be honest with you, even if I saw pics of the damage before repair, I think I would stay away from a car that was previously involved in an accident, yes the price may be really good and everything but I would prefer to pay a few thousand more for a car that has never been in an accident. I do have to give them credit for even telling you that it was in an accident, but I have also seen plenty of times where dealers say oh it was only a scratch with in reality they had to replace the entire front because of this "scratch". I would NOT buy this car if I were you.
