Dont kill me but Imma ask this quesetion. I got the the oil change alert and it says it needs oil change soon and its reading less then 15% of oil left. Do i change the oil now or does the mid actually say change oil now? I would really appreciate if you guys help me out. I have around 4100 mileage on it.

 

A lot of the people who follow the MID seem to wait until ~10% Oil Life remaining then change.

It will go to 0% and tell you something like "Service Due Now". I'd have to check the Owners Manual, but I think after 0% it may also give a "Service Past Due" message.

 

The MID will also read "10%" and then "5%" before "0" as oil life diminishes. You can change the oil whenever you want or when convenient, and reset the MID display at that point.

Anyone know how much the Service A3 should cost me? Mine stated that it is due for service a few days ago... got an appointment for the 7th, wonder if my oil life will last till then.
