First Day

My 07 TL-S has been sitting in my yard since last weekend.
Today was the first day that I have really driven it.
Gotta love the glares you get from those 3 bimmers , and pulling out of the DMV lot after surrendering my old plates.
I know there's a 600 mile break-in, but i got pissed at someone blocking the road and accidently gunned it to 5K rpm, didn't realize how sensitive the accelerator was....
Other than that I've been keeping it under 65 and 3K rpm.
Can't wait till after 600, I wanna open this up and see what it can do.

congrats on the TL, well florring it once or twice won't cause any damage. Just remember to put in 91+ octane fuel and to vary the engine speeds.

Once you get passed 600 you are def going to have so much fun with that beast. Just make sure that you don't get hurt in the process of opening it up. Good luck with it.

End of day 4, 300 miles (half way there)!!!
Piss me off, I was trying to take it easy, but some ahole kept tailing me so I had to do 75mph.
Who did I do a "fly-by" on today, in that tricked out silver TL-P, on Ocean Ave in Malverne?

You know you've permanently damaged your car for life. You might as well sell it and buy a new one.

X2...in fact, maybe you should sell it to me for a DEEP discount since it's "damaged goods"!

Mmmh nothing like new car smell... after my 600 miles which I purposely got rid of in 3 days.... but um until you get passed 2k miles you won't really feel the true kick of the car.... this car even accelerates fast with cruise control on... I love it.... hit the gas till I get to 25 then put my finger on cruise, set and press accel till I get to the desired speed... enjoy I know I do

Ps. Throw an intake on that bad boy lol

Thanks
I originally wanted the KBP, but the interior I wanted wasn't available.
I'm glad I got this color, it's more PoPo freindly.
This car has a great looking line, and when it's cleaning washed it's so beautiful, in every color!!

^^^^I'm not with above stupid (OP)

I'm going to have to go ahead and disagree with you. Red in any way shape or form of a color for a car, will attract more cops as red looks faster.

Probably, but for some reason, especially when KBP is dirty, it gives the slightest hint of purple which is why I like MRP better.

Finally passed 600 miles yesterday.
Too bad it's raining.
Tried to sportshift a little, forgot it's a 5AT, was trying to get into 6th gear, thought it was broken for a second.
The shift delay takes a little getting use to, but I guess if you give it a little throttle in the shifts it will alleviate a little of the jerkiness.
Still haven't tried to accelerate over 4K rpm's yet, hopefully if it dries up I'll turn off VSA.
