First CPO oil change - what else?

Hey guys-
I bought a 2008 CPO TL-S last Dec with about 55k miles on it.
Time for my first oil change!

I was going to take it in to the dealer. Any suggestions on what else I should have them do while I'm there? Tranny fluid, fuel filter, valve adjustment? Just looking for ideas...

(air filter was changed according to the CPO service checklist they gave me)

I'm going to guess your TL-S is an automatic, since you didn't state this. I should think that they would have drained and filled the transmission fluid but I wouldn't be my life on it. So this is something to consider. You shouldn't need a fuel filter. And same for a valve adjustment... unless they're making noise.

Which air filter; the engine or the cabin? A 2008 with only 55,000 miles is not going to be needing much at this time.

Yes, it's a TL-S auto.

Valves aren't making any noticeable noise, but i do hear a rapid "clicking" in the engine bay during idle with the hood open. In my old 99 Integra, the occasional valve adjustment fixed this.

Engine air filter was changed during CPO process. Do you recommend I also change the cabin filter?

Thanks!

Yes the cabin filter is always a good idea. This is something you maybe able to do yourself to save some cash since it very easy and about 10 min job. That said I would and do stay away from the dealer for any work on the car. $150-200 for an oil Change and tire rotation is just too much. I can throw 6 quarts ( I have an oil cooler ) of $10+ per quart oil and an expensive oil filter for less than half.

Log into myacura.com (or whatever it is). Mine has coupons for an oil change and tire rotation for $30.

Brake fluid change (all of it) is due every three years, regardless of mileage.

Welcome to AZ.

Just so he doesn't make a mistake should he decide to do his own oil changes, the crankcase takes 4 1/2 quarts (yes, I know yours has an oil cooler but he might get the 6 quart figure in his mind and wind up with an overfill condition).

I wouldn't worry about the clicking sound, it's pretty standard for our engines. Depending on who you talk to, it's either the injectors or just an inherently noisy valve train.

If you're really worried about it, have the techs listen to it when you take it in. They'll tell you the same thing
