Hi,

I picked up my 2006 Anthracite/Quartz 5AT non-NAV last night. Still trying to get all the right settings entered and to quit reaching for controls that aren't in the same spot they were on my old car!

My first post here may seem kind of silly, but where did you find a keyring that fits the remote fob? (board search engine doesn't let me search on terms key or fob - too short). The dealer gave me a ring that's a single strand wire ring thats pretty weak. It's like what my old dealer would use to attach the service ticket number to my keys.

I want something that's more sturdy. I've accumulated a number of key rings over the years, but none of them will open wide enough to get onto the fob without fear of the ring breaking or bending or massively scratching the fob. Just wondering what you all use?

I just got my tl today and had the same problem. I asked the dealer about it and he took out a bag of rings and said "take your pick". So I got a couple of sturdy ones and am using them.

I'd just get a ring from an office store or auto store.
