Finding figures

Ok, for now pretend I am a complete idiot. Not a far stretch. Many of you talk about average mpg, avg speed. Where are you finding these numbers, I can't find the display. Thanks

It's in your MID (where your fuel guage is.)

I believe the heading your looking for is Trip Information (or something like that.)

ya it's in the Trip Computer on the MID. i have 24 MPG, 30 MPH, and over 44 hours of pure fun behind the steering wheel.

i am wondering if this also keeps track of driver 2 or is it a combination of both. no one else drove my car yet but my dad might be the second driver in some occasions.

On the right side of the speedo are two buttons, a select/reset button, and an info button. Press either side of the info button until TRIP COMPUTER shows on the screen. Then press the select/reset button once, and the trip info will come on, showing average mpg, time driven, miles driven, and average mph.

Press the right side of the info button and it will now display miles to empty.

To reset the trip computer info, press and hold the select/reset button until it resets, about 1 second.

w1n78-the trip info is for the car, not the driver, so it will accumulate no matter who drives the car.

The manual is your friend...it may actually explain some things like why the engine doesn't turn over right away, or how to close your windows via key, or...how to operate the MID.

Pull the end of the visor out of its little holder, then pull the visor towards the MIDDLE of the car, and it will extend over the mirror.

set it to -3 as it was high, now it is at -3 each time I hold it down, but I don't think it changed the temp at all

sunshades extension is useless

It should have, and probably did, decrease the temperature reading by 3 degrees. If you need more, the sensor will have to be tested for electrical resistance and if faulty, replaced, because there is no provision for further adjustment.

My stupid dealer ever mentioned to me they could adjust temp setting by using their module, too.

Maybe, you could ask them to diagnose/test your system, and do the further adjustment afterwards if your outside temp reading is really higher than most of other devices you have.

I think I'll get over it. My temp being off b 2 degrees is teh sole problem with the car. I'll take it, no worries. I love my baby (that is my car, not actual baby)
