Okay I am keeping you guys posted on my car.
First thing, paint is still damaged from October.. I am too lazy to explain the details of it search " TL GOT KEYED, HELP!"

My mom has been in a good mood lately... I been begging her to let me modify my car. She finally gave into my persuasive arguments, " this car has everything but it's lip mom!" Anyways, she let me buy the ASPEC FRONT LIP with my own money.. (i am not that spoil) as long as I don't tell my dad... i don't think he will notice... rofl.



I got a deal, 15% off and i didn't have to pay shipping. Kinda bum because the John Eagle was selling it for 217+ 100 shipping.. so i save some cash and thoughts of FedEx mishandling it.

It's coming on Monday. I have the day off from school, so I hope it comes early.. My brother and I are going to install it. Isn't that just great?

Aspec kit is complete.

Now you need the rims, suspension .. and MOST IMPORTANTLY the A-spec badges.

Innocent: In regards to your keying. That sucks, check out the Wash & Wax section to get some help. Exceldetail will def. be able to help you out!

 

$100 shipping from Eagle is for the WHOLE A-Spec kit. I'm sure he'd discount shipping on just a front lip. $217 before shipping is the best price you can get! It should cost around $250 shipped.

 

I have taken a look at her key mark in person and it's relatively deep. With some touchup paint & an awesome buffing it would definitely help ..

Too bad her paint is different from the touchup pen.

 

I talked to Stephen Bradburn, the guy that Al suggested i talked to at John Eagle. He could do no better than 317.60 total..

geesh i been saying i wanted a front lip for the longest.. i only saw 2 PMs on it. Next time i want something... i am going to PM everyone to get a quote..

i am not going to drop my car.. that's a big no no. I drive way to fast to slow down for the many dips and entrances.. PLUS i might have alignment problems if i don't get the whole kit.. coils are one thing and the entire kit is something else.

Malissa, You can get Comptech springs and use them on your stock struts. It's only an inch drop and you will still be able to align the car to factory spec. How do I know Because thats what I use and I do my own alignments :/

thanks, i'll look into it. it took me like 3 months for me to get the lip and i got an overpriced one..

i'll look into the rims, but i might just put that 1K into the bank and save for a down payment for another TL (4th GEN anyone?) down the line.
