finally LED switchbacks to my liking

so i've been going back and forth on how to get my switchbacks to not show white and only orange.

well, the answer finally presented itself a few days ago, if you have the LED switchbacks, if you start/stop the engine with the lights on, EVENTUALLY the white will go out, btu the orange still works.

will post pics later, it's a shitty day in NY today. but i'm finally diggin the whole

cleared + blacked out + 1 CFFL ring.

i know that ppl have brought this up before, but it's never been like a DEFINITE, "yes, if you do this long enough this is what happens". - now i turn my lights off all the time for fear that the CFFLs will burn out! lol

yeah i figured this out too but i like the white, so i sent them back and got a free pair.. although now the colors of the white are a little bit different from each other.. =\

also when my whites went out, they went out only on one side..

u could just get an orange led turn signal.. thats what I am using..

cant you just break the pin off for the parking lights? or cut the parking light wire. it can always be spliced back. or Vleds type 2 Leds if not blinking white

yea i was using the silverbulbs, but w my blacked out inside, the orange bulb wasn't bright enough

yea rocky told me to try that or buy the 7442 smt bulbs or something....but i was too lazy to try it out

yea originally one side went out, but i figured if i did it long enough the other side would go out too lol

lolz JCL, doing things the hard way. You are intentionally trying to give it voltage spikes to fry them, haha.
