Well i finally installed my intake! its been sitting around for a few weeks. We did it in about 1.5 hours! I did not remove the bumper we just did it through the wheel well. I did'nt think it was all that difficult from what i've herd, its just you have less room to work with. The lining is VERY flexible! My freind who helped me is also an Master tech and had every thing we needed. Having a air wrench made it alot easier too!

I have some pics i'll post later today, but so far i like it! It sounds AWESOME! at WOT its really loud, and i love that! Anyways the website states like 14hp or somthing, i don't know if thats very realistic. I can't really feel any huge power gains, but it seems like its running alittle smoother now, but that could just be in my head. Anyways thanks to

I installed a Fujita CAI on my previous tl, it makes such a big difference.. sounded and performed great!!! Now that I had to get another tl and I have the oem intake, let me tell you.. its just not the same ride! ENJOY!!!

How is your mpg since the change? I just installed my AEM CAI and mileage has improved about 3 mpg (If I can resist constant WOT). I would assume you will see something similar.

I've never heard a TL with CAI. How much louder is it? I may put one on if its not an obnoxious sound like a pissed off bumblebee. Anybody got a .wav file or something?

Well when i installed it i had about 1/8th of a tank left and that when fast that night!! Normally on my way to work i get about 29-30mpg, my commute is 50miles hwy. This morning when i pulled into work i was at 34mpg and not even off full! so i can't say for sure, but so far its a 4-5mpg hwy improvment.

 

No i do not, but with the stock intake i could'nt hear shit really, with the Fujita at normal driving you can hear a high pitched whistle and at WOT it sounds 100 times better, very deep racey sound to it. I don't know where you got pissed off bubblebee, that would an exhaust?? Its louder tahts for sure, i love it!
