FINALLY got a VIN #

only took about SEVEN weeks, for a WDP 6spd/navi. VIN ends in 55817. Is this a relatively new production number?

Yes, it's new. My TL is 4 weeks old and is 48xxx.

Congrats! I just picked up my AM 5AT w/ Nav last night and my VIN was in the 542xx range (don't have the paperwork in front of me) so I would imagine that it is a new production number.

Congrats!

I just got my VIN yesterday, and it ends in 55349. I'm expecting to get the car next week.

I got lucky. The car I wanted (ABP/Quartz 5spd + Navi) was already in production when I ordered it, and it shipped on 6/9. I placed my order on 6/4, so the wait won't have been too bad assuming it comes in on schedule.

well i got a call yesterday that the car was in, and i picked it up a few hours later. The whole thing went smoothly ( surprisingly - i always seem to have problems when buying cars ), and so far the car is perfect.
