Smile Finally got to use the sunroof today

Wow! Is it ever nice here in Austin today. A little cloudy, but the temp is in the low 70's. This is really the first time I've gotten to use the sunroof since I bought the car in May. It's just been way too hot. I'm an A/C freak so I never roll the windows down. A little drag since it's kinda breezy but I'm really enjoying it. Of course in a couple of days it'll be back up into the high 90's but at least I get a little joy for now.

Take a break from the routine and put the windows down, too...you'll only use the AC on days where it's in the 90's after that...the air flows soooo nicely through our car with everything opened up Plus, it gives you an excuse to really crank the stereo...got to hear it over the wind noise

I use the Sunroof almost every day. I usually tip it up, even in the winter. It keeps warm air on my feet and cool air around my head.

I only use my AC about 10% of the time. Now that it's nice out, I usually open the sunroof with a little crack of all 4 windows. I'll have to try everything all down today as chill_dog had mentioned.

I can't stand the windows down and the hot air blowing in my face. It just makes the heat worse. When it's 100 degrees outside, all I want is the A/C. We don't get days like today very often. It's usually in the 90's all the time. I'll probably use the sunroof a lot in the winter since we don't really have much of a winter. This is the first car I've ever had with a sunroof so I can't wait to enjoy it.

That is the great thing about So.Cal., its got the perfect weather to have all the windows down and the Sunroof open just about anytime you want.

Hmmm..... has anyone ever seen a Convertible TL?

Well, yeah, if it's in the 90's I put the air on, but you said low 70's...that's not hot air, even if you're sitting at a light...when you're moving, it's a nice cool breeze. Oh well, if no windows, no windows...enjoy your sunroof!

For me, if it's in the 50's-80's, everything is open. I'll even open it all up in the 40's sometimes. I should've bought a convertible.

There was a thread a while back where someone photoshopped a TL convertible. In my opinion it didn't look very good.

I haven't used the sunroof, except for one or two brief instances on tilt or once or twice at a tailgate, because there is still the faintest hint of new car smell, even a year later (car is almost never parked outside). But I do really like the way the TL's sunroof goes all the way back when you open it, and the way it has the auto-open/close like the windows do if you push the button far enough.

Sorry, I was refering to not putting the windows down on normal days. Yeah today was definitely a window down day.

OKAY I spoke to soon.

I left my office yesterday and went outside and it was like 103 degrees outside.

So, no sunroof today.

It's in the mid-70s here and will be all weekend.

So the TL is staying in the garage because my other car is a convertible
