Picked up my RRP/parchment 5AT w/Nav from the dealer in Portland OR this afternoon. Drove the 120 miles home (at varying speeds) and, according to the computer, was getting 29mpg. Not too bad. Boy, what a sweet car......smooth and quiet. VIN is 76xxx, so hopefully all the first-year problems will have been laid to rest. Looking forward to many pleasant miles.

 

Congrats on the new ride. You were in my neck of the woods. I couldn't get the local dealerships lower than $500 off MSRP so I decided to buy elsewhere. If you don't mind me asking what kind of deal did you get in Portland?

 

Thanks Insmanblue. I got a grand off plus a few other goodies. Buying is pretty tough in the Seattle-Tacoma area; dealers are reluctant to trim anything off of their margins. I think I saved about $1700 in the transaction. I went the internet route, too, which was rather easy.

 

Good job on the price! I'm sure you will enjoy the car. The internet is a beautiful thing. It kinda levels the playing field.
