I've been waiting patiently and impatiently for a lil over a month now, but i finally got my baby! 07 Diamond White Pearl TL-S 6 Speed! I really wanted Black but it's tough enough to find a 6 speed and white sure doesn't hurt. I went from a mildly modded 03 Saab 93 2.0 turbo 6 speed. MAN the interior and quality build from the two is NO comparison! Acura hands down makes my Saab's interior cheap looking and feeling. I had a 01 Integra GSR back in the day, but it got stolen so i decided to leave the Honda scene. Couldn't do it for much longer once i saw the new Type S. Lovin every bit of it this moment

I was just roaming craigslist like i do everyday hoping one would pop up. And what do you know? One actually came up! The guy said with the economy hurting his business, he had to sell the car. Hey, his lost is my gain!

damn i wish my 08 type S was manual. i guess for 09 acura produced 3,500 manual TL's as well. but did anyone see the article in car and driver about it? yeah the title of the article was "the ugly stick." made me laugh and sad at the same time. glad i have a 3G tho. but getting off topic.

I just picked up my TL last night -- '06, Blue/Quartz with Nav. I've been saying the TL would be my next car since the change in '04. I was instantly in love with the styling when I first saw one, so the wait is finally over.

Well my short term of owning a 6 speed type s was very short and horrible! I was waiting for my friend to come over sometime this week for Thanksgiving and get together to take pictures. BUT I woke up this morning to a rear ended/side angle hit Type S. SOB! I parked my car on the side of the road last night since i got home late and everyone took the driveway. I woke up this morning to half of my car parked on the front lawn and it looked like a friggin truck just rammed into it and left! UGH my dad got the insurance company to tow the car away and now i don't know what's going down yet... =(

I'm sad =( took me a while to find a 6 speed in the first place. And not even a month later it's gone... try to find another one or just get something else guys?

 

That really suck just over a week, some people just don't a shit about other peoples property. Least they could of done is leave a note or something. Still surprised no one would of have heard the BOOM! from the impact.

 

I just bought the same kind of car as you. Congrats on the find.... but sorry about the SUPER bad luck! Good luck with the insurance company. Honestly, it's probably better if they total the car.

 

I'm surprised myself no one heard the loud inpact. I would say the car is totaled... or at least i wouldn't want to repair it and drive it. Maybe i should try to find a Nighthawk Black Pearl Type S now
