I had felt installed a few weeks ago due to scratching on my 20% film. The felt had to be reinstalled a week ago due to peelingand getting caught up in the window.When rolling down the window I am seeing water streaks on the INSIDE of the window after a good rain or wash. There is some kind of residue streaking on the indide of the window and I have a feeling when the weather gets hotter the felt is going to come off again. Has anyone had any problems with water streaking on the inside of the windows? Would the felt cause problems or is it an issue with Acuras weather stripping on the outside of the windows. I have an appointment this afternoon with Acura to start troubleshooting.

 

I have had my felt installed for about two months now. There is no peeling or streaking (there is streaking on the outside of the window when I raise it up and the weather is still wet).

I think that the felt may not have been installed properly or the adhesive was not strong enough.
