Federal Emissions Warranty: Knock Sensor Coverage?

Federal Emissions Warranty: Knock Sensor Coverage?
My '07 TL-S just threw a P0325 CEL/code indicating a knock sensor. I have 76,888 on the car as of this afternoon.
First thing first, I am going to head to AutoZone today and have them clear the code just to see if it comes back on.
If it does come back on, I have a couple of questions:
1. Does the federal emissions warranty consider this a covered part?
2. If so, is that warranty 7/70 or 8/80?
3. If covered, and if 8/80, then based on my mileage and original in-service date, I have 4 months and 3,112 miles left.
I tried calling my local Acura dealer and they were very wishy washy. They wouldn't comment on parts covered under the Federal emissions warranty. They wouldn't give me any information. They wouldn't confirm anything without out looking at the vehicle and doing a formal diagnosis. It was to the point where I hung up on them because I was getting absolutely nowhere.
My main concern is bringing this to the dealer, having them diagnose and tear down, and then tell me it is NOT covered and I am out whatever the dealer wants to charge to replace.
Any suggestions and thoughts here, please?

its not covered. the main reason to get that code is a mouse has made its way under the manifold and ate the wire to the knock sensor. harness is 30 or so but with that mileage the knock sensor will brake when you try to unclip it.

Thanks. I didn't think it would be covered, but figured I would ask. Google pretty much confirmed that.
What am I looking at $$$ wise to replace? Is this a dealer thing or can any independent shop do it?
Much appreciated.
