Farewell and thanks!

Hey guys,

The wife just got a 2011 Highlander Limited so I'm taking her "old" 2011 Camry SE V6 so the 04 TL is going up for sale.

I will miss the TL as it really has been a good car.

I want to thank everyone for all of the help over the last couple years, this truly is one of the best car forums on the net (I've used others and most suck).

Thanks again, and take care!

Which one feels quicker, the v6 camry or base model TL?

I think a v6 camry would beat a 3.2L auto TL stock for stock. It's lighter and more torque

A friend of mine has the 2013 v6 Camry and that sucker is quick. It felt quicker than my TL ever did because it was so much lighter. And it uses regular fuel too.

However, it felt completely numb, uninspiring, and the interior was terrible compared to my 08 TL.

The Camry is faster no doubt. It's not a huge difference but the Camry really does pull pretty hard for an auto.

the fit and finish of the TL is nicer but the Camry is still nice though.

Yeah its an SE v6. It does look really good, especially after I tinted the windows.

my biggest gripe about it is it has way too much power for the wheel size. If your not careful, you can melt the tires with traction control off. It's a very fine line between accelerating "normally" and balls to the walls...
