Fair price on a 2004 TL A-Spec?
Hi everyone,
I'm looking at a 2004 Anthracite TL A-Spec with 6speed, NAVI, Lip Spoiler, Tint, body kit and 18" rims with ONLY 3500 miles on it. It is also Acura Certified. I *might* be able to get it for $35000K plus T&L. Is this a good deal?
A concern is that it has a noticable rattle coming from the area that houses the Map lights/Sun roof control. Is this common and easily fixed under warranty??
I need to make a decision ASAP and apprecite any insight.
Thanks!
W

The only parts of the A-spec package that are worth anything are the suspension and 18" rims. The body kit, in my opinion, is not worth it.
You could probably get a brand new TL with just the suspension and wheels for 35K...and that's with Navi.

Well, brand new an ASPEC with navi is just over $40k ($35,100 + $5k for ASPEC). You could probably get this for just under $38k, so you're talking only $2-3k less than a brand new one...not that great of a deal, in my opinion, especially since 06's will be out in a couple of months, making that 04 two years old...

So if i were to think about getting the suspension and the 18'' rims, around how much would just those 2 items run me? I guess you make a good point as far as the ASpec kit not being worth as a whole, EXCEPT for just those two modifications.

Thanks to all that replied.
I told the dealer thanks but no thanks. He was very surprised when I told him. I'll wait for an '06 as I don't want a 2 year old car at that price.

That's a good choice i think... especially when you can get a brand new 05 for that price OTD if not less and then you'll have NO MILES on it. I definitely wouldn't settle for an 04. If you want one now for a good price, go for the 05 as i did and as many others on this forum has done

The suspension is $600+ Install.
The rims are more so around 1400 without tires. (Just go look at ebay).
You will spend around 500 for tires, so you're looking at about 2500 before having the suspension installed.

WOW!!!! That's better than $5000 however, that's still quite a bit of money. I may look at doing this next year around this time or sooner. I think it'll definitely help.

the suspension is REALLY easy to install. suspension is one of the easiest thing, but since u have to get it done through acura for the warranty.. i would still do it myself tho.
