Factory spoiler install kit
Factory spoiler install kit
I bought a used OE spoiler this weekend. I assume there should be a kit for installing it. With the foam seals, bolts, and template. I can't seem to find it online. Any ideas?
Nice. Love that spoiler for the tls, is way better thatn the lip spoiler. It is not that difficult here is a link. http://www.elitespoilers.com/installation .
Good luck with it

OE = OEM?
If it's OEM, there should be an Acura logo underneath. I think the OEM one also should have the mount studs built on the spoiler?
I am still debating on what spoiler to get for mine. Wing is kinda ugly, lip is too small, and Type-S one is not cheap. So probably going none.

When I first got my TL back in Jan 2011 I told myself I was going to get a wing spoiler installed no matter what. Around that time, I noticed ALOT of people on azine had the lip spoiler installed, and no one sported the Wing Spoiler so that's what made me really want to get a wing spoiler. To be different.
But here I am, 10 months later still without anything on my trunk. I look at the wing spoiler now and think "wow, did I seriously want to install that wing spoiler that bad? It looks so ugly and out of place"
I guess it was just a 'in the moment' thing. I eventually grew out of it. That wing spoiler kills the luxury sedan look of the car IMO. I've been trying to get my hands on a type-s lip spoiler ever since. Looks much cleaner, subtle, and classy.

He doesnt state if their painted or not. Assuming you want one.. regardless, basing off your avatar you have an Anthracite Metallic, which is not a type-s color so you will have to get it painted either way. That is another $50-100 depending where you go

You'll need part #4 which is the hardware kit, and also the trunk springs. The R Side appears to be discontinued, but the left spring is still available. use code acurazine for 5% off your purchase
