Factory brembos on auto

Has anyone with a 5at bought the factory brembos and installed them. I'm in the market for new brakes.

it has been done, but its cheaper to go the aftermarket route than to buy all the parts required to swap on the factory brembo calipers

So what's the best route to go. I wouldn't think it would be hard to swap the calipers. I would think just buy them swap them, buy pads and new roters

Yes, there are tons of threads on this.
people have done the conversion, but like VQ said...its a lot cheaper to go aftermarket BBK. (Big Brake Kit.)

search around.

aftermarket is better, and from what I hear from car & driver and other reputable sources, you're only really buying the name brand, the quality and performance of brembos are as good as OEM.

There was a thread about this awhile back, I would just invest the money in an after market bbk. Im sure others here will agree with me.

not that easy, it is a little more complex to do a full big brake job.
there are many parts involved and not just the calipers, rotors and pads. there are also the caliper holders. also the rotors are based on wheel diameter. if you are using 17 inch mags then the rotors are smaller in diameter to fit the 17 inch mag. the larger the diameter of the mag the bigger the rotor. there are many kits out there other than brembo. you are looking at around 2000 for the front alone.
