I REALLY like the green. I own SSM, but would've ordered your color had I seen it (bought my 04 last October).

Very, very nice.

Thanks Guys!

Deb, 'YOUR' car is wonderful !

I'll be posting pics of all the custom moulding work and interior with the exoticwooddash kit soon, though I only got the basic kit and just used about 3/4 of it.

Don you know that she has yet to drive it. But I will pass your kind words on. I am looking forward to seeing the plood in your car. Did you get Camel or Parchment? Too bad I don't get any commission on all the kits that are being sold since I started the wave. Hope you are getting good weather out by you like we are here. Over 85 at the beach near my house here!

Upon re-reading your post I have found out on my own that you got Camel. So my blunder does not count as I caught it myself. I need a day off, can you tell.

She's yet to drive it? Even after all these months since you got it?

That doesn't have anything to do with the fact that she wanted my color, does it?
I assume that's what you thought I meant by my referring to 'HER' car.

The weather here's getting better slowly (too slowly I think), yet not as great your 85.

:-)

DMZ: Congratulations from your cousins, TEAM NIGHTHAWK and your brethren at TEAM CAMEL. I have brought you this Christmas Tree car deodorizer and like-new microfiber detail towel as tokens of our best wishes <hands them over>. You won't need the Christmas Tree for a long time as you will be enjoying the smell of your buttery Camel leather.

I picked my car up a week ago. Although I got black, green/camel was my second choice. It is a stunning combo.

It is my first new car in 14 years. My 1990 Maxima was as pristine on the day I sold it as it was the day I bought it. 99,000 garage-kept miles. I hope to keep this one for at least as long.

I am anxious to see your pics of the wood kit. I have considered it. Tell us where you got it, how much, ease of installation, etc.

Against all advice here, I had an artist paint a subtle gold pinstripe on my black TL. I also had all the managers and salespeople ooowing and awwing over it. I had to import the artist since their guy was a hack. I have pictures but I don't know how to post them. I've tried. Let me know when you figure it out.

As President, I would like to extend to you an invitiation to join the exclusive TEAM CAMEL. We could use a few good men and women. You qualify because of your impeccable taste and discretion in choosing CAMEL.

Wait a second, DMZ, what tire do you have now? Didn't you demand the upgrade?

My dealer says Acura has become extremely adamant about not letting them change out the Bullshitstones prior to delivery, however what happens a week later is another matter entirely. I did not want the HPT Tire upgrade (they're still Bullshitstones anyway), as I have no place to store a 2nd set of tires. After a few weeks, I'll get the Falken 512's installed. Got a price of $105 each + tax; mounted, balanced, and installed from Ganin Tire (ganintire.com). Road hazard warranty included, prorated after the 1st year.

Are you having any problems with the Turanzas? They're crap tires but I don't have any flatspotting or vibrations.

No flat spotting or vibrations ........yet. But that doesn't mean I'm keeping them. I had several nightmareish heart stopping experiences hydroplaning on wet roads with Bullshitstone all season tires 3 cars ago, after which I swore to myself NEVER AGAIN !

Falken Ziex 512's, here I come. Consumer Reports top rated sedan deserves to have Consumer Reports top rated tires on it.

Yeah, I found out last weekend that the EL42s lose traction in fog. If the road gets wet, forget it.
