Hey guys, I have a serious question. Where would be the most adequate to place an ASPEC badge? I acquired these beautys from a dude up in Canada bc he had very few left to sell and he was the ONLY one in North America selling too! I bought two and haven't installed them yet. It's been sitting in the original package for about 8 months now. I bought two bc I thought about putting one on each side of the fenders either above or below the front side marker. Somewhere in that region...I saw how out of the factory its placed on the driver's side of the trunk in the lower portion but I don't like it. Not there!
All suggestions are welcomed whether it's smart assed or really suggestive. I just wanna see what the community thinks. Diamonds in the rough!!!

 

wouldnt the best place to put the aspec badge where the oem location is? under the TL on the trunk.. anywhere else it would look out of place

I'm also scared that a motherf***er is gonna know what the badge means and rip it off the trunk. I read a few posts and it concerns me.

 

So then put it in a non OEM place! Even more out of place so they'll never notice it!! SO GENIUS IT MIGHT JUST WORK!

i assume the guy works for acura and proceeded to buy out all their stock. he sold 88 so far, netting about $7k...not bad.

And do what with it? Slap it on their civic? Besides the tape they use is strong theyll need some time to get it off. Ive had my poser badges on both my TL and RL with no issues for 2 years.

I bought from same guy and also curious as to his source since theyve been discontinued for years unless he has a lead on them in CA. Slap them on per factory spec, the only other place ive seen them is in the grill which looked surprisingly good. Anywhere else..pass!

mines not full aspec hence i call them poser badges and im perfectly ok with that.

Honestly, wont matter where you place it. Its not that hard to miss. I place mine where the TL was at since I de-badge mine. Seems to look much better in that spot than the OEM spot.

No offense, I think the chances of that happening are similar to winning the lottery. A-Spec has little to no meaning in the car world.

That being said, I do like it on the trunk as others have stated.

 

I almost bought 2 of them from that guy. Honestly I like the debadged look even more. Aholes who like to steal them

 

Another vote for the OEM spot on the trunk- there are install instructions- follow them. If you MUST put the other one on, I would say the grill.
