Exterior Accessories

I have an 04 and I'm looking to eventually get the underbody kit, the nicer wheels, and the A Spec suspension. Of course the dealers cost is pretty high for any of this. Has anyone here gotten any of these items elsewhere and did not pay a fortune for them?

there are a couple of ebay sellers out there and sell alot of a-spec parts. people on this board have purchased from them without problems. i believe one of them was selling the a-spec body kit for like 700 bucks which is vert reasonable to me.

I noticed that several of the sellers on ebay are Acura dealerships. I think you get a better price from them through ebay.

When you search on ebay, what do you search for to be exact and do the dealers say they are dealers?

Your profile says you have blue interior lights, how difficult is it to change them out?

I'm looking to do the same thing. My dealer quoted me $1250 installed for the body kit; $975 for the kit, $275 for the install. I'm going to call him back and let him know that I can get the body kit on Ebay for $800 and see if he can move a little more.

Did I mention that I LOVE THIS CAR?? lol

Very simple... I did a few of mine last night and this morning. I bought a kit (8 of the 9LED style blue lights) from ebay.. not sure how many I will install, I have 4 installed so far and it was crazy easy. Not sure if I will like them or not.. many people here cry rice.. but ignore em..

To each is own.

haha yea. I was talking about that here yesterday. When I first riced it out I thought it was the coolest thing.. .. then I realized how stupid it all looked. But the blue lights inside I think will look nice.. and its a 5 minute mod.. when I don't like it, I can change it back.

Now when I get my avelectronics crap today, I will set up my DVD stuff in the car oh joy oh joy.

I bought floor mats from acuradeals. They are Curry Acura I believe they are in New York.

Also I have seen davidagoodrich not sure if it is a dealership but they sell OEM Acura parts.

The lights took me about 10min. I did the front/rear dome and doors. I got the lights from super bright leds. The cost was a lot less than on ebay.
