So I am almost reaching 45k on my TL. I'm thinking about buying extended warranty, I know some of you bought warranty when you bought the car. Few weeks ago my friend bought new TL and I asked financial manager how much it would cost me and he told me somewhere around $1500 with $100 deductible cuz my car is 2 years old.

How many people bought their warranties after buying the car and what ya'll pay?

i bought the extended warranty when i bought my 02 TLS. waste of money. i have 80k miles and never had a mechanical issue (other than tranny failure). none of the interior is covered by the extended warranty. nor is the recommend mileage interval maintenance. personally i would save my money.
