i believe it will void warranty only if they can prove that the exhaust was what caused a part to fail, if they cannot then you should be good warranty wise ...

so it really depends on wat the problem is...if the exhaust it intake caused the problem they won't pay for it but if it's like a problem such as misfunctioning navi which isn't related to exhaust or intake they'll pay for it?it doesn't just void the warranty right off the bat does it?

theoretically you are voiding the warranty on the factory exhaust... realistically you ARE NOT... the warranty on the factory exhaust does not cover corrosion/oxidation/rust or any other wear/tare... what it does cover is manufacturer defect such as leaks via welds, leaks at the mufflers/resonators via non weather related.. and such

by installing an aftermarket exhaust you are actually preserving the factory exhaust... and thus there is no warranty to be void, aside from the rubber hangers and o-ring gaskets

My service writer told me the same thing and so did Acura warranty. I talked to Mike from ATLP and he said that they have to prove that the parts caused the fault. There is a bill called the Magnuson-Moss Act. That they have to prove it was the parts fault. This is what aznbo187 told me. He is a dealer on here so i think i would trust him.

Then again I've read some horror stories about how dealers "prove" that the after-market part caused the fault.

is always their word against yours. and they will always win. whatever the problem u may have, they will always find a BS reason to tell you that its due to the aftermarket stuff.
