Error Message in Navigation
Hey guys, new here just bought a 07 type s wdp
. Never really mess with the navi yet but what i've came across was that little message thingy on the top right of the navi there were three messages there, not sure if it is important that i should freak out or something. The message i have is something about the air bag may not work dued to low voltage? second is vehicle stability assist61, and last is the vehicle stability assist112? i've tried searching and such but only came up with something about the navi having to be connected to the acuralink server to recieve those message? as far as my dash theres not lights up or anything about my abs or airbag malfunctioning at all. Is my last resort the dealer to delete them? thanks you guys
yea i am having problems with my navi too... i am not sure what it could possibly be. . . iwas driving down the road an it just turned off for no reason an will not start back up i have tried disconnecting the battery for 15 min then reconnecting still nothing any ideas on this? please help
I bought my type-s new so I know EVERYTHING that happens to her. I have the same codes plus a few others stored from when I was jammin out washing her and let my batt die!! They are just stored there now in the memory. Some can be deleted like the tighten gas cap. Once you hit that envelope and acknowlege the message if your still having the problem your CEL or MID will display it.....

i guess i'll take it in to get it checked out for sure. im guessing it happen previously before me and they did no clear it or something. What's weird is just that it comes up on the navi message but not no dash lights like vsa lights or airbag light is lit at all. Hopefully its just something they forgot to erase and luckily i have warranty on it.. Thanks guys for your help.

My 2004 returned a message about an error reading the disc one day last week and told me to go see the dealer. This happened in my garage when I first turned on the car, so after I backed out into the driveway I turned it off and turned it back on. No error message that time. Weird stuff. As long as it doesn't happen again I won't worry about it.
finally took it into the dealer today here in san diego, cool older asian guy helped me out, showed me how to take it off. He said its not a problem with the car, he also said that if it was a problem with the car like the airbags or vsa or something then the fault light should be on the dash not the navigation which kind of makes sense. All he did was went into the service menu of the navi and resetted something in there. and after that all the messages disappeared. Done it less then 2 minutes.
