I've had my Tl-S for a little over a month and I've noticed that after I start up the engine I feel sudden engine vibrations for the first 20 - 40 seconds. The vibrations tend to decrease/ disappear after the engine warms up. I can't hear any loud noise coming from the engine but the vibrations are very noticeable.
Is this normal?
Is anyone else experiencing the same thing or something similar?
I would think that an almost new car should start smoothly without any vibrations but I don't know if this is normal for a TL. Please let me know

 

My 05 6mt does when I first start it when its cold. Feels like a V8 Chevy.

 

My '08 5AT does the same. Vibrates alot when I start it on a cold NY morning...but goes away shortly after.

how old is your oil? usually goes away after a fresh oil change though - but then starts to happen as the miles rack up.

Every TL-S I've been in, when cold at start, sounds like a vette, and you can feel the minimum vibrations.

I personally love it, the exhaust/engine note is kinda sweet..
