Engine covers

I've read up on whether the engine covers are better off removed or not and cant seem to find a solid answer. Some people say they are there to help with aerodynamics and cooling while some people say they are better removed to assist with cooling. While some people say that certain covers should be taken off and certain should remain such as the engine cover and radiator support cover.

I currently have all of them off including the radiator support cover. Is there a concensus on what is the best route for cooling and performance. I dont care about looks.

if you don't care for looks, look up the Ultimate cooling mod - involves removing windshield cowl.

They obviously arent much in terms of weight reduction. But as far as cooling is it better to have them off? Or on? Or it doesnt make a difference either way?

Off with them. Lol at anyone who says they help with aerodynamics or keeping the engine cooler. They're simply there to make the engine bay look *clean* on an entry level luxury car. IMO, it looks better without them.
