^^^Much better! There's something very evil about that thing...I love it!!
A bronze engine cover and CAI, or even gunmetal, would look great on your car. Quit dicking around, buy some high heat paint, and get it done.

Maybe I should just go blue and eliminate the headache?

Please, do not paint it blue. Your car looks good; that will not. There is nothing easier than removing and painting these two things.
If you're trying to save work, why not just paint the CAI flat black? Continue the black theme and it matches everything in the engine bay.

Doing it mainly as a "nostalgic" reminder of what our cars have come from.
And before anyone jumps all over me with the "its a usdm car...not made in japan" read again the line above this..Its not just about this car, but the long line of acuras/hondas before the TL.
Enough yappin...here is what i got planned.
The Japan Rising Sun Flag using the oil cap as the sun, and painting on the rays...
Like it or not...im kinda digging the idea, and photochop...and after all, if i dont like it a quick sanding and a new coat of bronze and im back to normal.
Let me know

Good!
I'm guessing you didn't install it...turn your wheels to the right, pull back the fender liner, remove the filter, uncouple the CAI...it takes ten minutes tops. The last time I did it, I actually removed the wheel to give myself more room to work with, but that's not a big deal to me. There's a pipe clamp holding the filter on (you have to remove the filter because it's too big to pull up into the engine bay); there's the nut/bolt holding the support to the wheel well; and there's the pipe clamp holding the CAI to the TB.
I didn't sand mine. I took it out of the box, wiped it down, masked the stickers, put it on a stick I stuck in the ground, and sprayed it. Three coats later, I put it in the car.

Dont do blue and skull compared to Stella haha
Ray...gunmetal will definitely be ordinary looking. If you want to change it up with gunmetal, I would add more gunmetal, like CAI/Engine Cover/Front Bar...That might look better?..I just said gunmetal like 8 times
What about me guys? What color should I go with?

No problem...looking forward to seeing the results (of everybody's). Me, I'll just be washing the car, going to the car show, and watching football this weekend. Normally that would be great, but both of my teams (Panthers, Redskins) are going to get killed Sunday .

ST04Louis..where did you pick up the engine paint in bronze? I checked out Discount Auto and they had like 30 different engine paints, but al of them were Red/Yellow/Green/etc. They had silver, might just go with that . Also, I saw that they had copper auto paint, for the exterior, do you think that would work even though its not heat resistant?

Here is one of the issues you will run into ... and I did , is the rubber weather stipping under the hood is going to mar the paint in the aread I have drawn out in yellow. In the untouched pix I could see the marks. One solution would be to add clear rockblocker or another type of film over the 3/4" areas it effects.

I want to ask you what kind of engine paint you used. (By the way I just ordered G2 Engine Paint Kit with the gold color) Will this paint kit give the same quality as you paint kit?
I want that glossy gold look so what can I do to achieve this goal? Thank you!

Not to bust your chops or anything but that is not the Japanese national flag, which is a red circle on a white background.
Its the Japanese naval ensign flown from ships.
That being said its a very imaginative concept..well done.
