Engine Compartment Covers

I was wondering what you all use to clean the engine compartment covers, if anything at all. I used the armor all cleaning wipes. Looks good except for some reason it scratched the hell out of the 3.2 V-Tec lettering. What is the lettering made of anyway? Oh well, at least it is only looks and does not effect the ride. Who ever looks at the engine anyway?

the scratches you see mgiht be just the residue left fron the wipe, they leave nasty marks on windows too. i use water and a microfiber towel to clean all the pollen off

i just use a damp towel to clean the engine compartment plastics. i would never use the armor all stuff. first off it leaves a nasty shine that doesn't look appealing to me. since no sun hits those plastic peices i dun worry about uv protection too much.

Use the same detailing spray you would use for the paint. I use Meguiar's or Zaino.
