ECU reset = more power/better response?
I reset my computer every week by disconnecting the negative and step on brake pedal for 1-2 min and I get a little more power and much better throttle response and mileage...for about a few days. I have tested this with 89 and 92 octane and there is a difference. I buy BP but know shell is better, better discount with PB here in Indy.
Does anyone else feel the reset difference?

You don't have to disconnect the battery.
1. Turn key to position II
2. Turn everything off (radio, A/C, lights, etc.)
3. Take key out for a few secs
4. Step on gas pedal all the way down
5. Put key back in and turn to position II (do not start the car)
6. Wait 30secs
7. Turn key to position 0 (do not take key out)
8. Take foot off gas pedal
9. Wait 2 full minutes
10. Start the car
I don't know if you need steps 1-3 first, but this is how I do it and it works every time.

^yes, it (the ECU or PCM) relearns your driving patterns. I noticed a difference, and need to do it again.

The pedal method doesn't do Jack squat the only PROVEN method is disconnecting your negative terminal on your battery for a few minutes. I have done both and doing the latter makes a huge difference

LOL, this is a shared delusion. Resetting the ECU does nothing for power unless you've changed something performance related that's directly governed by the ECU. You need a solid 15-20 horsepower increase in a 3500 lb car to feel a real change in performance. The TL doesn't somehow lose that kind of power and then magically regain it after an ECU reset.
