Got mine from the spoilerstore. Great product with a really good paint match for the money. I did use extra auto glue to give it some more grab to the trunk. Went through one hot Alabama summer with no lifting

I got mine from spoilerstore to and it arrived with a few small scratches. I contacted them and they offered a $25 discount or a replacement. The spoiler matches perfectly.

Gumby430- what was the name of the glue that you used?

Anyone else take extra measures to mount the spoiler?

Can't remember the glue name because I used the whole tube. I just went to advance auto parts and got glue that you would use to mend a lose piece of trim on any car. I ran a big bead down the center between the tape. With the glue you get 1 shot so make sure you place and tape off where its going before you place it down.

isn't M3 tape better than glue? With M3 you can remove it without damaging the paint?

I put the glue between the 3m tape stripps for extra grip. Not sure about you but once its on its staying on for as long as I own it.

Hey that's my Silver car in that old thread. I did not use any additional glue and it holds strong. Quality is great and matches well. It looks identical to OEM ones I've seen on other TLs I see parked at work.

My only complaint is the lack of having a stronger trunk spring to pop the trunk higher, but thats not a terrible issue.

You could always lighten the trunk lid a bit like in the TL weight loss project. I've always hated how it barely pops a couple inches. My sis' Benz shoots straight up. So, they put stiffer springs on the trunk wing models? I'd be interested in those

I thought I read somewhere that you shouldn't install it under 70 degrees. It's been in the 30's here in NJ and don't want to have to wait till the spring.

you prolly shouldn't install it if its not above 60. But i have a garage that is heated, plus i heated up the trunk with a blow dryer anyways and its not going anywhere.

That looks like a Type-S decklid.. I thought they only made base-decklid replicas.

It appears that you placed the spoiler a little too 'in' [closer to the window than the edge of the trunk]. Looks good though! Did you have spoilerstore paint it for you?
