I wouldn't even recommend that cause it looks useless for two when you only need one

Word of caution. Avoid foam filters. They have a history of shedding pieces and quess where those pieces are going to go.

Not only shoudl you avoid foam filters, but avoid just about anything made by R-1 (unless you want cheap wheels) and avoid any tuning items that are on Ebay that claim to do a lot for your car, but cost next to nothing.

I would avoid anybody selling "quality REPLICA" parts and in the same advertisement telling you to AVOID "Cheap Quality parts"

even if it was functional, it would probably cause your car to run too lean.

to make poo-poo?

I have never had one shred, but I have found they do not flow that well at high RPM, because the foam squishes into itself from the force of the air mass and velocity. They also do not filter as well as they claim.

I stick with paper, or in cars that need every last ounce of power and spend a lot of time in the high rev space (like 8200 in my car), I bite the bullet and use a large K&N gauze filter, with frequent checks and oil changes at 6months, 1K, summing to my 2000 miles (my annual miles).

My experience with those foam type filters has been negative. While never having installed that type on a car that I have owned, I have seen several cars over the years in my shop with them. It seemed like the foam would deteriorate, or become stale, which would not allow it to perform (haha) at its fullest potential. I dont know much more about those types of filters except to stay away from them...obviously agreeing with everyone else who has posted their dislike with them.
