Dropping idle and stalling.

What could be the issue?

my 2006 Acura TL base automatic; RPM drops very low and goes up and down for a brief period when I turn the wheel or if I switch gears. If I rev it to say 3k and let the RPM come down it drops below 500 followed by little viberation before stalling.

it was fine until;
I unplugged the battery, detailed the engine bay, covered the alternator with a bag (not fully) and did an oil change. When I went to start the car I forgot the plastic bag on the alternator when I started it.

I heard a few things that could be wrong,

MAF/MAP sensors could have gotten dirty

it needs idle relearn

not sure what the problem is, it was fine before all this, really hoping someone here had similar experience and how they came about to diagnosing it.

THANK YOU!

i have a video, but it exceeds the forums size limit.

any lights on? Did you remove the bag and its pieces?

Turn on the car, make sure radio an all other items are off. Do the idle relearn procedure. Should fix your issue.

Try this first.
Probably should disconnect the battery for 3-5 minutes then follow below.
