Driver's side mirror tilts when reversing?
I've had my '08 TL w/o navi AT for over a year, but yesterday I noticed something for the first time. When I put the car in reverse, the driver's side exterior mirror tilts down toward the ground to 'help me back up.' I just had the car in the body shop to repair some minor read body damage, and I swear it never did this before?
Am I crazy? Is there a way to disable this feature? I prefer it not to bow.

on the left side of the steering wheel, there will be a few buttons.
heated mirror button. a VSA button. and a mirror selector switch.
when backing up; if the selector switch is in the middle of L and R, the mirror will not go down.
push it to either L or R and the corresponding mirror will bow
