Driver's floor mat

Does anyone have their driver's floor mat ripped on their 6mt? It's the part where my left heel touches the floor mat when I clutch.

My mat is intact in the area under the clutch. Do you rest your foot on the foot rest on far left or you keep on the clutch all the time? You might be riding clutch unknowingly. Though I doubt it.

Let me be the first of many to say that the original equipment floor mats are not very good quality.

Some people like them, but many others opt for either aftermarket mats or the Acura black All Season floor mats

I rest my foot on the dead pedal. I only clutch when I have to shift. I think it's maybe my sneakers that are causing it.

This happened on my 6mt Accord coupe also. On the accelerator pedal side also.

I dumped the lousy OE mats and got some berber ones from Autosport - other than at the apex of my heel ( a high pressure zone), these mats are wearing like iron, and hardly show any dirt as well. This is the best aftermarket part I have purchased for my TL, other than the Escort Solo.
