To be Captain Obvious:
Get some cones and marker sticks to practice finding the cars corners and edges in safety

Didnt you ever see the "Brady Bunch"- Driving Challenge Episode?

Having experienced this horrible feeling in my previous car, I now go around those obstacles wide just to make sure I don't nail the curb. Sometimes I have to back up because I swung so wide. I've yet to scratch my 18's or stock rims. Knock on wood.

So I was driving home yesterday and in my rear view I saw a TL but the rims/wheels looked really weird. Got up close and they where hubcaps. THe plate said Canada so I will let it pass they probally where steel rims with snow tires.

sue the bank for having narrow drive through lanes.

anyway, wheels are wheels. if the car is a daily driver, then don't worry too much. when the tires are worn, try wider tires.

Someone recently post pics of those old school wires-- that extend out from the fender edge as ~curb feelers~ and suggested they would work good on a TL ~~

thanks for the laughs everyone! this is a daily driver and i plan on getting new rims when the weather gets better. i just needed to vent. again, thanks for the laughs!

btw, the new accord has a better turning radius than the rl, tl, rdx and tsx! consumer reports and i think edmunds give our car (actually every acura) poor marks on our turning radius.

new rims and new wider tires.

yeah, the turning radius is very wide. legend and older RL have the best turning radius.

uh

here's maslow's heirarchy of responses

#1 GO INSIDE FOR THE ATM

#2 BE MORE CAREFUL NEXT TIME

#3 SUE THE BANK FOR HAVING NARROW LANES

#4 GET OUT AND GET INTO A FIGHT WITH THE CURB, BETTER YET TAKE OUT ALL OF YOUR ROAD RAGE AGAINST THE CURB! GIVE IT AN UPPERCUT OR TWO, I'M SURE IT CAN HANDLE IT. BETTER YET, START KICKING AND SPITTING AT IT, BECAUSE IT WILL SIT THERE AND JUST KEEP LAUGHING AT YOU AND YOUR SCRATCHED UP RIM IN ADDITION TO DOING TO YOU

#5 GET A NEW CAR!

#5a AND IF YOU REALLY NEED TO USE A DRIVE UP ATM, DRIVE UP TO IT, STOP 10 FEET BEFORE IT AND "WALK" UP TO THE DRIVE UP ATM!!!!! <----I've done this at Taco Bell...I've stood in the drive through line with MY OWN 2 FEET and parked the car 20 feet away so in essence, I walked up to the drive up window. My body has two wheels of size 14" as my shoes, my CAR has 4 shoes of size 17"
