Double Sided Tape

Double Sided Tape
I'm trying to (re)install the rear wood trim kit and need more double sided tape. (I made the mistake of cleaning before installing with Armorall which has silicone in it and makes the surface slippery and the adhesive not stick well.) This tape could also be used in the future for installing exterior mods (body kit/chrome trim.)
I went to the convenience store and they just had your usual wall mounting double sided tape that looks more like it's for arts/crafts, picture frames, etc.
What kind should I be getting and where?
I also thought about using super glue which could feasibly work but will be more permanent and potentially damage the interior (which would be covered up anyway.)

automotive grade 3M double sided tape. Members here say they have gotten it from lowes, Home Depot, autozone, kragens, etc. There's a thread here that shows how to apply the tape properly to get rid of those gaps that happen with the factory tape.
