I personally think lambo doors are extremely out of style now anyway. They don't look right at all either on sedans.

If you plan on doing this, do all 4 doors and not just the 2 front. If you plan of doing this, drop your car, not on stock height. If you plan on doing this do it right and not on chrome rims. Remember that it was in style then and now it isn't. The price may be affordable now so if you want, go for it.

 

i would put the money somewhere else. like a savings account.

 

I think they're stupid. Just my opinion. But some people like them which is fine. Even if I liked them I would spend the $$$ on just about any other cosmetic or performance mod before I considered it.

Definitely a nay. They have sort of gone out of style and the amount of money invested in them would be put to better use in some other modifications.

Why my parents bought their new TL I told them they should put lambo doors on it.

Exactly. On any other car they just look ridiculous. Even on higher end cars.

 

For the record the pic at the top is a little false. The Gallardo doesn't have the flip up doors, the Murcielago and more of the higher end Lambo's do. The Gallardo is the baby Lambo.

Koenigsegg is amazing. Those doors really only do belong on them. I'd be really disappointed if I saw them on anything else.

 

I don't think anyone would ever try, since lambo ones are easier... Those doors on Koenigsegg has nice engineering in it.

I was going to suggest that, the gullwing door...personally, the lines of the TL and it's wannabe VIP status would look much better with a suicide rear door with a B pillar that drops down when windows are down, like a 65 continental.
