Door Locks?

Does anyone else find the door lock behaviour odd? It seems like passengers are pretty much stuck unless they manually pull up the knob on the door or the driver remembers to hit the unlock button after opening the drivers door.

One other question. What's the deal with that plastic piece toward the rear of the drivers door pockets. The "tray" thing at the front seems to be for loose (e.g. toll booth) change, but the rearward side has some strage seperator thingy.

That is for your sunglasses. The passenger side has one too.

Also, for door locks, you can program it to unlock all doors upon park or ignition off. Read your manual!

Alas, I don't have a manual (yet). These are observations from my test drive. I'll have one soon though

I've heard the wait can still be up to 3 months, though, for some colors/nav option.

Unfortunately the Nav units are more popular than Acura expected, causing them to have a shortage of units, which means delays for people who want Navi.

You can program all four doors to unlock at the same time or the driver's door, and then the remaining three.

Here's an extra little nugget of joy:

If you look in the center console, there's a typical spring-loaded change dispenser. What isn't typical, though, is this - You can remove the change dispenser by pulling it up. There are tabs on the dispenser that also fit in matching grooves on the driver's side and passenger side front pockets, making your change more accessible.

If you're unfortunate enough to live near tollways, this looks like a handy little feature!

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

You can look into some things about the car in this thread that is sticky'd here in the 3rd Gen until you get one of your own. Then you will be one step ahead of the game.
