Door LED's: Wide vs Focused
I noticed just below the WLED-6 which is focuses the light of all 6 leds in one direction the WLED-5 Wide Angle which has 4 around the outside and a super bright in the middle.

Has anyone tried the wide angle? I searched and couldnt find anything.
I am curious because of the way the 6 direct causes a bright blue circle when on in the doors (cant find the pic now, saw it earlier) and thought this might cause a more even glow.

I saw those ones too and decided to try them. I ordered them on Saturday so they should be here in about a week (I hope). I'll take a picture as soon as I get them in, if you want to wait and compare. This is the link to pics I looked at https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98771

I have the Wide angle 5 in White.
Do you want me to go take pics with those in the doors?
Actually I have:
WLED-W4
WLED-W5 (Wide)
WLED-W6
I could do a compare of all 3 in the door, but only in white.

I would guess (also i assume you mean the led bulbs), the bulb size you speak of is 194/168 in TL's, if this is the size of the TSX's the bulbs that have been spoken of on many threads will fit (WLED-4, 5, or 6)

PS: Dont bother commenting on my camera or my abilities. Its a Crappy 2.1 Fuji and I was heavily caffinated.

Great pics! So which did you end up keeping in the end?
I currently have the B6's in the doors, but I'm probably going to switch to white for better consistency with the interior leds. Blue was nice when I normally left the interior lights in the "off" setting, becuase the only illumination was the doors and the guages. Now that daylight savings has ended and it is dark when I leave work, I like having the interior lights "on" when I open the door. (The domes are all W6 leds.) With the white light from the domes, I don't notice the blue on the guages as much (until I'm sitting in the seat), so the blue on the doors seems a little out of place.
I'm torn on whether to go with brighter (W6) or broader (W5 wide). With the current B6s, I don't feel that it lights up the ground very much. Do the W5s put any more light on the ground than the W6, since more light is redirected by the reflectors? (vs. the W6s, which just send the light straight out and not down as much.)

I used B6s in the doors and will probably keep it that way.
I personally have not done the License plate lights yet, but I will probably use W6s.
I'm still debating on what to use in the Side Markers.
W4s (to match the front lights)
B4s (to match my ABP and Courtesy lights in the doors)
OR, do I buy some of the surface mount LEDs (also in either white or blue) and instead of hacking the PCB the lights are on, simply de-solder and re-solder new lights that use all the same mountings and resistors.
I need to drag a multimeter home with me to figure out the voltage on the existing Surface mounts before I order tho.

Based upon a referral here in the forums (I don't remember who - but thanks), I went with B6's (cluster of 6 blue led's in bulb unit) in the door lights, and W6's (cluster of 6 white led's in bulb unit) in the front and rear dome lights. The whites have a faint blue hue to them - which is a very good compliment to the car without looking disco-like or annoying). And the blues in the doors are a perfect touch. The entire lighting now looks absolutely awesome on my NBP with Ebony leather. I am very pleased.
I also went with W6's in the license plate lights. It turned out real slick - not ricey at all.
I had to remove half the trunk link lining clips (plastic push-in rivet/grommets) so I could get my hand in behind the license plate lighting assembly to get the darn things back together (after replacing the stock bulbs).
Quite easy effort overall. I highly recommend it - it really gives the car an even more tech-like and unique look.
