Question Don't use magic eraser on leather...question

Hey guys,

Anyone know where I can get a replacement leather cover for the armrest. I got ink on it and used someone on the boards idea of the magic eraser to remove it. Well, needless to say, the ink is gone, but the magic eraser destroyed the finished of the leather in that particular spot. It looks horrible now.

Any clue how much this goes for? Thanks in advance and happy 4th of July to everyone!

If you are talking about the arm rest on the door, then it looks like it is #40 in the picture. You are in luck. I would have thought it would be much more expensive, but it is probably plastic and not leather. List price is $41.36.

Here's a thread showing removal of the door panel.

Thanks for the response Ron, I should have been more specific. I am talking about the center console. The leather that covers the storage bin. The part that slides

Ok. let's do it again, but when you see the price you will wish that I guessed right the first time.

It is #11, and the list price is (drumroll) $251.77, and the wholesale price is $201.42, so it will probably be cheaper to order it from Sunnyside Acura, even with the shipping, than to get it from your dealer, but you can check that out. If it's light ivory, it is cheaper (I don't know why) at $203.76 and $163.01. For some reasons the colors listed don't match the color names we use for our interiors, but the parts man can help you out there.

I agree. I used the ME to clean some scuffs off of my seats and head rests. No damage.
