Doing some DIY (Headlights and RSB) Need some answers plz

I have an Anthracite 06 TL and i wanted to blackout my headlights tomorrow.

I have a question - did anyone use glossy black paint for an Anthracite TL? I've searched and it seems only NBP TL's use glossy black paint. I've only seen the other cars use flat black paint.

Can anyone tell me if glossy black paint would look nice on Anthracite and why ppl use flat black instead?

As for the Comptech RSB. I would like to know if the A-Spec suspension actually changes the sway bar when u get it installed. I have an Auto and i know it's at 17mm but with the A-Spec full kit, does that change it at all?

Thanks in advance.. I did some searching and could not find these answers.

I can't help you with the paint, but the A-spec suspension does not change the RSB so you would want to do this in addition to (and probably before) any suspension upgrade.

Ok thanks brian... I was planning on buying it right now so wanted to know for sure if it's worth it. Thanks!

Now for the Headlights.

you can use gloss black and if i had to do it over again i would have. i used flat black and love the results, but a gloss would match the the trim bezel better. i dont have any pics of a gloss, but they are out there.

the RSB is byfar the best mod for the 3G TL. for only $120 it completely changes the handling quality of the car. i noticed more of a difference when i changed that, than when i changed my a-spec suspension on my 5AT.

Thanks a lot ding069. I just purchased the RSB so i'm definitely going to install it.

What color car do you have? I know there's a piece in the headlight that is flat black. Do i paint that as well? Has anyone painted it glossy black on an anthracite?

For those that have installed the Comptech RSB, are greased bushings absolutely necessary to prevent "thumping?"

That looks freaking hot subinf! The thing i'm worried about is well the polished look matches your car so that's why it pops. I'm just scared that with anthracite and a glossy black headlight, it might just look gawdy.
