did a search and found nothing.

when i crank my car, like with my doors open, all the interior lights dim.

does it really draw that much current to the starter motor?

just wanted to see if everyone is experiencing this or is it just me.

Ya that sounds normal. Every vehicle I have ever had has done that.

I've never owned a vehicle where the lights don't dim when starting the engine. Yes, a starter does draw that much current.
