just want to know if anybody here has experienced an increase of "success rate" in picking up girls driving a TL? does modding make a difference?

how does it compared to driving a similar priced sedan of BMW, Infiniti, Lexus, etc...

i think BMW is known to be a chick magnet, but most girls don't know the difference between models, other than the fact that it is a BMW

i really gotta try doing this some time..i've seen so many mercedes and bmw drivers do that

same in DC... there's a ton of nice-ass cars around... and yeah, a lot of girls are dumb as shit and swoon more at the Benzes, BMWs and Audis, and even when you tell them that your car is a crapload faster and more comfortable and luxurious than most European imports, they won't have it... dunno why

 

I had a guy once come up to me with another TL (stock) which mine has a lil mod's ask me how does it drive with the wheels i have cause he cruises at 120 and was wondering if the ride was rough hahah. and his nickname for his car is panite dropper i almost rolled out of my car. So i guess it works for him Dumasss.

 

what i cant stand, or jealous of, is that a girl would see a 2000 BMW 318 and say "wow nice car (BMW)!" even when it is standing next to my brand new TL

 

I get more attention from classier, older women driving my TL. When I use to drive my Integra and RSX-S barely legal girls stared and tried to get my attention. The TL was a big step up for me and I'm happy.

With the girls I've been dating, I think they would be miserable riding in the RSX or Integra's. They love the comfort, looks, performance of the TL. I get compliments all the time. BUT don't let a girl like you for your car, let them like you for you. Owning a TL just shows/proves that you have great taste and enjoy things of quality. So I guess it helps in that sense.

most girls just aren't impressed with the TL. and, i will say that in general, girls don't really care what car a guy drives anyway. the TL did get me one hot girl that i dated for a little while, though.

 

First of all if you handsome you won't ask this question. handsome guys can get nice chicks with his moped or no cars at all , well nice chicks go for cars will not know whats acura are , maybe an old model BMW, Mercedes or Lexus guys will get more chicks than the TL-S.

 

Hell, if some of the women who drive TLs rarely look at you, what makes you think regular women will?

 

I've gotten more attention from car-loving guys than most girls! I did get the attention of women driving another tl, because mine looked better!

I KNOW! That's what I hate the most! It's hard to take that when a girl says it... if a guys says it, you can tell him to fuck off or reason with him, but some girls just don't budge ...

yeahhh all ive gotten was some 40+ year old lady asking what kind of car I had, when I said Acura TL she goes "Woooow It's AWESOME" I said thanks and got into my car... other then that I just get stares from people in non- A-Spec TLs when I drive past them, or vice versa.

Same with the g35 coupe with 20" rims, all I got were guys at Chevron tellin me how clean our car was or askin how big our rims were... but for some reason girls would look when me and my cuzzo would roll past them in my dad's avalanche....

 

My gf tells me that she ain't digging my 07 TL-S that much, but I'm thinking it's only cause I won't let her drive it.

 

yes it helps me pick up chicks. i pick them up and drop them off (never at my house tho). in this sense, it also helps me pick up a whole ton of dudes too, which might be not so good depending on how u look at it.

 

define chicks. the kind of women the TL attracts are usually MILFs which are ok by me.

 

I would have to agree with ballinfizzle89....the only other cars that are good for picking up girls are older muscle cars.....especially convertibles. There's just something about em that girls like.....even though most don't know a whole lot about em.

 

My TL is a 2000 so it blends in pretty well. Granted once a girl is in the car I will get that I have a nice car but my car doesnt really stand out and especially because its not modded or anything.

Funny, I live in LA and work in Beverly Hills, so I hardly get a second look. However, I used to drive a 99 Camry and NEVER got even a single glance from girls. I'd say the check out factor has increased about 1000 percent since then. Girls recognize that it's a nice car, but girls who are into you for what you drive are trouble anyways.

In my travels, I've found that girls respond much more to the way a man dresses. It's all about the shoes btw -- whew knew?

Come on guys, not all women know the difference between a BMW or an Acura. But then again most men don't know the difference between a Gucci or a Coach bag. We don't expect you to either! Besides, even the car wash attendants get the make and model of my Acura wrong... They'll say white Honda car is ready

I have been followed twice home, once by a Volvo and then by a BMW... guess it's just a man magnet.. haha!

A material thing such as a car should not be the reason a woman is interested in you, because truly I would rather go out with a man that has a good sense of humour and keeps me intrigued.
